Samburu National reserve situated alongside the Ewaso Nyiro River, there is plenty to attract wildlife from the surrounding savannah plains. The reserve lies between ecological zone, there are various activities that visitors can engage in while at the reserve. These include game drives, bird watching, sundowners, bush breakfast; nature walks, river rafting (depending on the water level) and the Samburu culture experience)
Depart Nairobi in the Morning to Samburu at the North rugged Semi desert region, though harsh contains some of the species rarely found elsewhere e.g. Reticulated giraffes, gravy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx’s, Somali Ostrich, gerenuk, vulturine, guinea fowl among others. Arrive in time for lunch/check in afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
