These are attractive and interesting exhibits of traditional exhibits of traditional homesteads of several Kenyan communities complete with thier inhabitants.
BOMA is swahili word for the Village and this homesteads reflect the truly traditional architecture of the people.
Their creation was aimed at promoting Kenyan culture. However, perhaos of more interest are the various perfomance of traditional danceand songs which are staged daily in large circular theatre.
The Bomas is located just 10 km from Nairobi city and about 1 km up from the main entrance to the Nairobi National Park.
