Day 1: Nairobi Airport – City Hotel
Upon arrival in Kenya at Jomo Kenyatta international airport you shall be ushered in by our team after you are through with immigration formalities the team will then take you to a city hotel on bed and breakfast for one night
Day 2: Nairobi- Masai Mara Game Reserve
Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for start of the safari to Masai Mara between 07.00 am – 07.30am departure for a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Maasai Mara, Kenya’s famous game reserve. (Drive time 5.5 hours). You will be in a private safari vehicle. Stop for some time at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint on the way, to enjoy the amazing views of the largest Valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space. Arrive at Masai Mara for lunch at your lodge or camp. The afternoon game drive at 15.30hrs till sunset allows spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Return to your lodge/camp by 18.00hrs.
Dinner and overnight
Day 3: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Optional
You have the options of two game drives, one in the morning from 06.15am to 09.00am, followed by breakfast and the other game drive in the afternoon after lunch from 15.30hrs till sunset. The wildlife is usually more active during these times of the day. As your Masai Mara safari is private, your game drive timings will be flexible, useful if you are travelling with children, or are on a honeymoon. You may also choose to have a full day game drive [one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.
You also have the option of Hot air balloon safaris which takes off at around 06.00 am and land one hour later to a champagne breakfast in the wild, there after board your tracks and continue e with your road game drive and break for lunch, second game at 15.30 hours till sunset. Return to lodge/Camp for dinner/overnight (Extra cost)
Day 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi – Mombasa Kenya Coast
At the break of dawn you embark on your concluding safari in Masai Mara, followed by a relaxed breakfast back at the camp/lodge, followed by an onward departure back to Nairobi by road. Arrive Nairobi by early afternoon. Our driver will either drop you at the Airport and catch your flight to Mombasa/Diani (about 50 Minutes by flight) or drop you at SGR railway terminus and board a train to Mombasa with good viewing on the country side (about 5 hours by train) Upon arrival our team will receive you and transfer you to a beach hotel check in/dinner overnight.
Day 5: Full day at the Beach
Relax at the beach and enjoy the warm/hot weather at the coast with lots of activities in the day and entertainment in the evening
Day 6: This will be an optional Day
On this day a part from relaxing in the hotel there are several options:
Option 1: A visit to Mombasa town that will take you to the historical Fort Jesus and the old town
Option 2: A visit to heller park, Bombululu workshop or Changamwe wood carvings where you can also buy Souvenir’s at a low price
Option 3: A day trip to Wasini island for snorkeling and dhow safaris at Kisite Mpunguti Marine National park also you will be tracking the Dolphines and later have sea food lunch at Wasini Island (Extra cost). Return to hotel in the evening dinner/overnight
Day 7: This will be an optional day
Option 1: You can stay at the hotel relaxing
Option 2: You may go for Deep see fishing (extra cost) See fishing time on our Deep sea fishing table
Day 8: Mombasa
Relax on the beach
Day 9: Mombasa – Nairobi
After your breakfast you may choose to fly to Nairobi or to use SGR train service on arrival our driver will pick you up and transfer you either to your hotel or residence or at the airport and catch your flight back home
