Maasai Mara Game Reserve

The reserve is regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing in Kenya, with over 95 species of Mammals,Amphibians,Reptiles and over 400 bird species.The dominant inhabitants  is the wildebeest. In July each year over 1.5 million  wildebeest, along with large numbers of Zebras migrate from the Serengeti plains in Tanzania to fresh pastures in the Masai Mara before going back in october.

Lake Nakuru National Park

Lies 140 Km northwest of Nairobi in Nakuru county.The alkaline lake has a crusty shoreline, surrounded by wooded grasslands. It is famouse for flamingos both ( Great and Lesser ) that turn the shoreline crimson including over 450 species on dieds. The park is also reach in wildlife  both predators and other wild animals not forgartting the rhinos both black and white.

Samburu National Reserve.

The reserve  is rich in wildlife with an abudance of rare  norther specialist  species such as the Grevy’s Zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the baisa oryx. ( also referred  to as Samburu special five. The reserve is also  popular with a minimum of 700 elephants, also large predators such as the lions, leopards, cheetah  are important attraction.

Amboseli National Park

The park has over 800  differnt mammals to be found ranging  from the tiny (and rarely seen) spectacled elephant shrew to the huge bulk of the African elephant. There are also over 400 species of birds. The park has an airstrip for light aircraft. The land scape is dominated by the towering Mount Kilimanjaro.

Tsavo National Park

Is the largest park in Kenya, and was established in 1948. Tsavo National  park was split into East and West  for administrative purpose. The two parks are divided by Nairobi-Mombasa railway and road.  Tsavo East is an easily accesible are very popular park. Some of the attractive scenic features  large herds of elephants and other wildlife and striking natural landscape and over 400 species of birds. Tsavo West  National park covers approximately 30 per cent of Kenya’s park area, and contains  a diversity of habiotats, wildlife and mountainous scenic landscape. Over 600 species of birds have been located. At Mzima spring in the north of the park , water that has filtered underground from the chyulu hills  gashes from below a lava  ridge into a series of claear pools

Day 1: Nairobi Airport – Hotel

Our team will welcome you at the airport after immigration formalities and transfer you to town hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara Game Reserve

Early breakfast then proceed to Masai Mara game reserve with a stopover at the view point the edge of Great Rift Valley for refreshment and photos. Proceed and arrive for lunch/check in camp/lodge. Game in the afternoon return for dinner/overnight

Day 3: Full Day Masai Mara National Reserve

Early breakfast then proceed for a full day game viewing in the game reserve (you will carry packed lunch) the day will be taken up tracking game with your driver guide though there will be a break for picnic lunch   The reserve contains all the cats that are Lions, cheetah, and leopards; sighting Leopards needs luck more than just being there but Lions are abundant and there are excellent chances for spotting cheetah. The hippo pool popular is a popular spot to watch out for hippos, other wild animals can be seen as well as birds like the Secretary birds, the Vultures  and many more birds. Return   to camp/lodge overnight.

Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve – Lake Nakuru  National Park

Depart Masai Mara region for Lake Nakuru National Park, arrive Lake Nakuru for lunch/check in. Game drive of the day starts at 03.30 and return back to the camp/lodge for dinner/overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park –Samburu National reserve

Wake up to an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National park. Return for breakfast and depart for Samburu national reserve with a stopover at Thomson’s falls lodge for refreshment, lunch and photos at the falls. Proceed with your safari to Samburu National Reserve check in at lodge with game at 04.00 pm return to lodge/camp overnight.

Day 6 Samburu National Reserve

Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu with lunch and leisure break in the mid-afternoon. Return to lodge/ Camp dinner/overnight.

The reserve is home to rare drought resistant animals that are peculiar to the semi-arid region north of the Equator. These include the reticulated giraffe giraffe, gravy’s Zebra, and the Baisa Oryx, gerenuk blue shanked ostrich. Samburu is dry most of the year but it is watered by Ewaso Nyiro River, which rises in the Aberdare‘s and drains in the Lorian swamp north of shaba National park. Return to lodge Camp dinner/overnight.

Day 7 Samburu National Reserve – Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, leave Samburu National Park for Amboseli National Park with stop over for refreshment and lunch in Nairobi. game en-route check in lodge /camp  for overnight.

Day 8: Amboseli National Park

After breakfast spend the morning and afternoon game viewing, there are swamps and springs feed by underground rivers from the melting snow of Mt. Kilimanjaro which gives permanent water to the animals. Amboseli is well known for Elephant herds moving in families, other animals can be seen as well as birds. An evening game drive, return to lodge/camp for overnight

Day 9: Amboseli National Park – Tsavo West National Park

After breakfasts depart and leave for Tsavo West with game enroute arrive and check in at lodge/camp and lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive and a visit to Mzima springs- The source of drinking water for Mombasa residents return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 10: Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast proceed to the game drive  visit the shetani lava  chyulu caves, wild animals and reptiles  plus birds can be seen as well return for lunch  with a small break , the second game will be at 04.00 pm return for  dinner and overnight at the camp/lodge

Day 11: Tsavo West National Park – Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast depart and leave Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park game en-route check in /lunch , game to follow from 04.00 pm then return to the camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 12: Tsavo East National Park

After breakfast  you have the option of morning and afternoon game drives with lunch break in between.

Day 13: Tsavo East National Park – Nairobi

After your breakfast depart and leave for Nairobi, with optional farewell lunch or dinner at an extra cost at the Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi then be dropped to the airport or your hotel in Nairobi.
