On the day our tour started, Nelson, our driver and guide, picked us up from the hotel with a great smile, warm attitude, and total professionalism. Throughout the journey, we had fascinating discussions about Kenya’s history, culture, natural beauty, wildlife, and the national park itself.
The lodge was absolutely amazing. The only sad part was that we stayed just one night — we truly wished we had booked more days.The staff at the lodge were incredibly welcoming, kind, professional, and humble.
Hot Air Balloon – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Experience
We headed for a hot air balloon safari, and what an experience that was!
I highly recommend everyone to do this at least once in their lifetime. Floating above the breathtaking Maasai Mara landscape while spotting wildlife from the air was unforgettable.
We enjoyed another game drive followed by a magical bush breakfast next to giraffes! The food and service were fantastic.
Later, we visited an authentic Maasai village, which was a truly unique cultural experience. It gave us a deeper understanding of the traditions, lifestyle, and strength of this incredible community.
Nelson drove us back to Nairobi, first to our hotel to collect our luggage and then to the airport.
