Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National park lies within the shadow of the mighty Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain whose peak may be seen from the park in clear weather. Only nature and her majesty could create such a back drop to the wildlife pageant found at Amboseli. Game is seen en-route to the park, which crosses plains.

Where the Maasai tribesmen tend their cattle in an age old-tradition. Lunch is taken at a lodge/Camp within the park, followed by another game drive where lion, cheetah can be seen including elephants and hippo that are found bathing in the swamp grounds which get there waters from Mount Kilimanjaro.

ITINERARY

Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi at 7:00 AM and set off for Amboseli National Park by road. You will have a stopover at Emali for a bathroom break before continuing your journey. You’ll arrive at Amboseli after approximately 4 hours, check in at Oltukai Lodge, and enjoy your lunch. You’ll relax at the lodge and take in the beautiful surroundings before your afternoon game drive at 3:00 PM. The game drive will continue until sunset. Afterward, you will return to the lodge for dinner, a bonfire, and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Amboseli to Nairobi

Your driver-guide will pick you up at 6:00 AM for a pre-breakfast game drive—be sure to grab some coffee beforehand! This is a great opportunity to see animals when they are naturally active. Later, you’ll return to the lodge for a full breakfast at 9:00 AM, followed by check-out and a drive back to Nairobi. You’ll enjoy lunch at the Brazilian restaurant Fogo Gaucho Panari before being dropped off at your hotel or the airport for your flight back home.
