The 4-day Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Luxury Tour allows you to experience Lake Nakuru National Park, which hosts flamingos, rhinos, and other animal species, not forgetting birds. Masai Mara National Reserve, on the other hand, is the home of the wildebeest migration, which happens annually from July to October.
Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru National Park
We will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi at 7:00 AM and depart for Lake Nakuru. You’ll arrive at 10:00 AM and begin a game drive immediately, continuing until 12:30 PM. Then, you will proceed to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for lunch and check-in. You’ll relax at the lodge before your evening game drive, which starts at 4:00 PM and lasts until sunset. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, you will check out from Sarova Lion Hill Game Camp and depart for Masai Mara, with a stopover in Narok town for a bathroom break and optional shopping. You’ll arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch and check in at Mara Serena Lodge. You’ll enjoy the hotel amenities before embarking on your evening game drive at 3:30 PM, returning to the lodge at sunset for dinner, a bonfire, and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Game Drive at Masai Mara National Reserve
A full-day game drive with a packed lunch is highly recommended to fully explore the park. You’ll enjoy lunch at a picnic site within the park and continue the game drive until evening. Return to the lodge for dinner, a bonfire, and an overnight stay.
Alternatively, you may opt for a hot air balloon ride (extra cost: USD 460 per person). This activity begins early in the morning, from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM, followed by a champagne breakfast. Afterward, your driver-guide will take you on a morning game drive. You’ll break for lunch, then embark on your evening game drive at 4:00 PM, lasting until sunset. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 4: Departure – Masai Mara – Nairobi
You’ll enjoy breakfast, followed by checkout. You will depart for Nairobi with an optional cultural visit to a Masai community (extra cost: USD 25 per person). You’ll continue your journey back to Nairobi, arriving at approximately 3:00 PM, where the driver will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
