Meru is a savannah National park. The area is crossed by numerous permanent streams, draining from Nyambenes.

Meru National park has a variety of game which includes gravy’s zebra, elephants, eland, bush pig, common waterbuck, lion, cheetah, leopard, reedbuck, hartebeest, buffalo, gerenuk, reptiles like python, puff adder, cobra etc and more than 300 species of birds recorded.

Other attraction includes former home of Joy and George Adamson and Elsa the lioness; views of Mount Kenya, rivers and riverine habitats, Tana River and Adams falls.

Day 1. Nairobi – Meru National Park

Start your safari at 07.00 am drive past Thika the home of pineapples, arrive Meru and check in at lodge /lunch with game in the afternoon. Return at 5.30 pm for dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Meru National Park

Optional carry packed lunch with you  for full day game viewing or return for lunch and proceed to your afternoon game and return at 05.30 pm  for dinner/overnight

Day 3.Meru National Park- Nairobi.

Breakfast at leisure, check out at 10.00 am and start your journey to Nairobi. Arrive late evening
